In their plain, simple form, Bauhaus products are a design revolution. Form is completely subordinate to functionality, or in other words: form follows function. Many of the products developed by the Bauhaus, both in their original form and in their further development, are still an integral part of many households today, such as the cantilever chair, the Wagenfeld lamp or the Bauhaus wallpaper.
The 3-seater sofa LC2, together with the two-seater of the same name, is the perfect complement to the well-known Corbusier armchairs. Together they form a perfectly shaped seating group for lobbies, lofts or salons with high design standards. Even though the Corbusier sofas bear the abbreviation of the designer (LC), they were not designed by him. They merely lean closely on the LC2 and LC3 seating furniture designed by Le Corbusier. However, this circumstance does not harm the appearance and comfort. The frame of this sofa consists of an elaborately curved tubular steel frame in chrome. The leather cushions are filled with polyurethane foam and dacron wadding, and the seat of the sofa is additionally upholstered with down feathers for optimum seating comfort.
Dimensions of the sofa: W x D x H: 180 x 70 x 67 cm, seat height: approx. 45 cm
